Porter’s annual DAY OF THE ARTS will be held:  Friday, December 15, 2023.

This is another favorite of our students and even the parent volunteers enjoy their day!  Porter’s Art departments hosts the event each year.  This year, the theme of the day will combine the arts and sciences:  From the Sea to the Stars!

Various stations are set up through-out the gym/cafeteria; students have the opportunity to try their hand at new and different materials, mediums, and projects they may not have used or been introduced to in class.  The students are always very excited about the day!

However, we couldn't pull it off without the help of the PTO and our wonderful parents and guardians. 

VOLUNTEERS and DONATIONS are needed to make this day a success. You do not need to be artistic to help!!  Parents and family members can sign up for half or full day shifts, as well as food donations. With the help of the PTO, we provide breakfast and lunch for all volunteers!
