3rd Grade

As third graders, you will get the opportunity to go on an amazing journey!  We’ll learn about the 7 continents and the 5 oceans, about ancient civilizations, government, economics, and much more! 

You will become skillful  mathematicians who will study place value, addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, geometry, time, temperature, word problems, measurement, data, and graphs and fractions.

You will study the wonders of science by exploring animal and plant life cycles, adaptations, habitats, simple machines, water, and matter.

You will learn the writing process and become young authors by writing many different types of stories.  Books will be our best friends this year…we will be reading a lot!

We are so excited to go on this fun-filled journey with you all!  So, put on your seatbelts and prepare for the ride!
