Apply integration of academic, technical and occupational skills and knowledge in practical situations.  Students will learn how to improve interpersonal skills essential for success in the home, at school, and in the community.  They will also learn testing strategies for preparation of standardize tests as well as work habits and organizational skills.  Student will learn the art of cooking- particularly, they will be introduced to the basics of cooking, including nutrition, measurement, following a recipe, presentation and etiquette, as they prepare a treat each week in our own Porter Kitchen.  They will also learn about food safety.  Finally, students will learn basic sewing skills.
