We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Parent Technology Information Night!

Tuesday, March 25th  @  6:00-7:00pm in the Porter cafeteria

Technology permeates almost every aspect of our lives. As such, we here at Porter are ever mindful of the importance of the partnership we have with our parents and community. 

We are fortunate to have Guest Speaker, Special Agent Courtney Goode this year. Ms. Goode has been with the NOVA/DC Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force since 2019.   She will speak about the importance of how parents can advocate for their child(ren) when it comes to online interactions. 

SA Goode has a passion for identifying those who prey on children and bringing perpetrators to justice. In addition to her casework, SA Goode conducts safety talks to raise awareness about child predators, encourage safe internet practices, and empower parents and children to act when faced with suspicious or unwanted behavior online.
