The Porter Advisory Council represents and assesses the needs of the community and staff.
The Advisory Council will develop the school plan and ensure that it reflects the vision and mission of Porter.
The Advisory Council will act as an adviser to the school administration on the implementation, evaluation, and modification of the School Plan, as well as on the budget.
The Porter Advisory Council will identify concerns, obtain community and staff feedback, and support the goals of the educational system.

PAC POSITIONS
All current positions are through the end of the current year.
Below are the 2 positions that will be open for the 2026-27 school year. If you are interested in holding a position in the future, please email Mrs. Meres at [email protected].
Chairperson - The Chairperson will:
Preside over the meetings and work with the Principal in planning and directing the business of the Porter Advisory Council
Review with the Principal the planning and preparation of the yearly and monthly agendas
Deliver the agenda to members at least one week before the meeting
Provide a copy of the agenda to the Principal and Corresponding Secretary two weeks before the meeting. The agenda should be available on the Porter website
Vice Chairperson - The Vice Chairperson will:
Exercise all functions in the absence of the Chairperson
Maintain a roster of the membership
Assist the administration in coordinating programs that provide training and information to the Porter Advisory Council

ALL meetings this year will be VIRTUAL, via Zoom @ 6:30 p.m.
