Porter clubs are organized and run by both Porter staff and Porter parents. Each year, the clubs are different, depending on the staff's interests and the parents' involvement. We have had clubs for all manner of hobbies, likes, and such: baseball, golf, volleyball, dance, scrapbooking, kindness/friendship, military connections, music, etc...

Parents...if you are interested in organizing and running a Porter club, here are a few things for you to consider:

What grade level(s) you want the club for?
What is the purpose of the club?
What days of the week do you want the club to meet?
How long (number of weeks/months) do you want the club to meet?
Will supplies be needed?
Do you want to have parent volunteers assist you?

Once you have completed the form, please call the front office to set up an appointment with Mrs. Engelmeier-Foor to discuss your club ideas and proposal.

MATH COUNTS.... is a competitive math club for middle schoolers.  The club will meet on TUESDAYS @ 7:45am in Mrs. Wangner's room.   VIEW FLYER & PERMISSION FORM

 

MATH CLUB...is a fun enrichment program for middle school students who enjoy math and/or would like more practice in developing math skills.   The club will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month @ 7:45am.  VIEW FLYER & PERMISSION FORM.

 

 

The Porter MSA CLUB starts back on Thursday, October 10, 2024 @ 3:45-5:00pm. 

For elementary AND middle school students!

This year, meetings will be on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  We are limiting the number students to 25; please be sure to submit your permission form by Friday, September 27th.
