It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that we bid farewell to 3 of Porter's amazing staff members. While we are sad to see them go, we are excited for them to begin their next journey.

4th grade teacher Mrs. Angela Patterson, is retiring at the end of the school year after 18 years teaching here at Porter. While at Porter Mrs. Patterson taught 4th and 5th grades; she also sponsored the much loved Math 24 club for many years. Her first plans after retirement..."Here I come Vegas, baby!!"

Gifted teacher, Mrs. Peggy Geyer, is retiring at the end of the school year after working here at Porter for 19 years, and teaching for 30 years! While at Porter, Mrs. Geyer taught grades 2nd - 5th and Gifted. She plans on...."Visiting family in NY and short trips until my husband retires."

Custodial Manager, Mrs. Beverly Gibson, is also retiring at the end of the school year after taking care of our building for the past 23 years. She has worked in the county for 27 years. Once retired, Ms. Beverly plans to "...rest, relax, and travel to visit my grandkids."
